Bold Courage – Series Part 2 Rev. James Reeb

Come learn about the courage of James Reeb, a Unitarian Universalist minister who is considered one of our UU martyrs. In 1965, he was working with low-income and marginalized folks in Boston when he felt called to Selma because of his UU faith. He was one of three people murdered during the Selma campaign of the Civil Rights movement.

 

I sense in RevD a serious effort to review where UUCW is at this challenging point, coming out of a pandemic and with budget challenges. She is taking full advantage of her brief time as full-time minister to triage major tasks, envision new and creative ways to engage church members, and prioritize future developments within a tough budget forecast
